What is PLUG for Java/Swing?

PLUG for Java/Swing is the compiler to translate a user interface description made in PLUG to Java source code files.

Swing is a set of pure Java graphical user interface components from the Java Foundation Classes.

The output of the PLUG compiler for Java/Swing will generate the following files in a /java subdirectory of the working directory:

• A main class file (.java and .class) with the same name as the id-attribute of the application-tag.
• For each window: a class file (.java and .class) which is a subclass of JFrame.
• A few helper class files.
